generating imagery for client documents
I’ve tested many AI tools, and frankly, most fall short when it comes to image generation.
At a conference last year, I discovered Ideogram—a free image generation software that’s on a whole different level!
You might be wondering how this relates to finance, but the need for high-quality visuals is everywhere—from reports and pitches to stakeholder presentations. Instead of talking too much, I’ll let the examples do the work and show you what Ideogram can really do!
PROMPT “I'm preparing a document for a client, please could you create a banner, I want the PwC logo, and it to say we've been providing high quality services for the past 80 years in the same theme as the logo.“
The image is really high quality, and the dimensions/ colours can be customised if you require edits.
PROMPT “I would like a banner with 3 major accounting bodies, ICAEW, ACCA, and CIMA on it”
The main drawback of Ideogram is its limit on free image generations—you’ll eventually hit a cap. However, for those who can expense the cost, there’s a paid option available.
I also wanted to show you what ChatGPT’s DALL-E can produce. The software has improved quite a bit since I last used it, and the result was actually decent when I tested the same prompt. That said, in my opinion, Ideogram still has the edge.
And Google Gemini (Imagen 3 was pretty disappointing!)
I hope this article was useful and inspires you to start using Ideogram for bespoke, professional images.
